PRACTICES FOR GOOD CONVERSATION
- Raise hand before speaking; no interrupting.
- No one speaks twice on a particular issue until all who wish to speak have spoken on that issue.
- Listen to each other deeply.
- Tell difficult truths without making each other wrong.
- Take responsibility for your own feelings and experiences.
- Use “I”statements.
- Be Constructive. Create positive context and supportive framework.
- Acknowledge the past fully, yet focus on the present.
- Be real. Share what is most relevant.
- Be direct, yet kind.
