In the Fall of 2018 our community waded through "The Great Snow" (apologies to "The Vicar of Dibley" series).  It was not much by the standards of cold weather states, but at 15" it was unusual for southwest Virginia.

It came early, stayed long, and consisted of many more inches of snow than we usually have!

We survived well, with the assistance of hardier community members and a couple of friends who shoveled and used our snow-blower, as we celebrated this beautiful and quiet snowfall.
